Chair: Peter Murray - Chairmam of NLA

Peter serves as the Chairman of NLA. Trained as an architect, he was an editor of Building Design and RIBA Journal before starting Blueprint in 1983. He has curated a number of major architectural exhibitions and is Chairman of the communications consultancy Wordsearch. He is founder of both NLA and the London Festival of Architecture and is author of various architectural books including “The saga of Sydney Opera House” and “A passion to build”. He is a visiting professor of IE University in Madrid and Hon. Sec. of the Bedford Park Society and was recently installed as the Master Architect of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects
Benjamin Derbyshire - Dip Arch Cantab RIBA

Ben Derbyshire is Chair of HTA Design LLP, a design consultancy to the home building industry, practicing ‘creative collaboration’ in a range of professional and other disciplines. A member of the practice since 1976 and a co-owner since 1986, Ben became a main board director when the practice incorporated in 2000 and was appointed Managing Director in 2005. Ben became Managing Partner in 2013 when HTA Architects Limited became HTA Design LLP and then Chair in 2016. Ben has worked on a many complex large-scale schemes undertaken by the practice over the years. As well as acting as HTA's Chair, Ben is responsible for the practices internal Design Review process and leads the Marketing effort. He has built up broad-ranging expertise through involvement in much of HTA’s work in regeneration, masterplanning, housing and mixed use design. Ben was elected as President of the RIBA in a ballot of members in August 2016. He became President in September 2017.
David Lunts - Executive Director, Housing and Land, Greater London Authority

David is Executive Director of Housing and Land at the GLA where he leads the work to establish the housing functions that devolved from the HCA and LDA to the Mayor of London in April 2012.From 2008 until May 2011 he was the Executive Director for London at the Homes and Communities Agency.
He was previously Executive Director for Policy & Partnerships at the GLA, with responsibility for planning, regeneration, environmental and social policy. Before moving to the GLA in 2005, he was Director of Urban Policy at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
He began his housing and regeneration career in Manchester which included the leadership of the City Challenge renewal of Hulme in the early 1990s. David moved to London in 1996 to run the Urban Villages Forum, a widely supported membership not-for-profit group, and became the founding chief executive of the Prince’s Foundation in 1998. He was also a member of Lord Rogers’ Urban Task Force.
Zohra Chiheb - Project Architect Levitt Bernstein

Zohra is an architect at Levitt Bernstein, with particular expertise in the technical design and detail of residential buildings, often as part of large scale regeneration projects.
She plays an active role in the Practice’s research activities and has contributed to a number of reports, papers and articles, as well as speaking at various industry events. She is particularly passionate about community-led and alternative models of housing development.
She is also a Non-Executive Director of the CDS Cooperative Housing Association.
Louise Wyman - MRICS MLA
Louise is Head of Strategy at Homes England, responsible for increasing the supply of well-designed housing in sustainable environments across England. Louise is a Planning Committee Member for London Legacy Development Corporation, a Built Environment Expert for Design Council Cabe and was previously an Executive Director of Ebbsfleet Development Corporation. Louise is a Chartered Surveyor and a Landscape Architect experienced at working with the public and private sector to deliver great places. Louise is an Ambassador for Harvard University where she undertook her Masters work and now supports the exchange of planning, design and development innovation between academia and industry.
Andy Von Bradsky - Design and Delivery Adviser, Housing-led Regeneration, DCLG

Andy is a Consultant with over 30 years’ experience in the design and delivery of housing for the private and public sector, and provides advice on housing related issues, drawing from his experience as former Chairman of PRP.
He is Chair of the RIBA Housing Advisory Group, which advises RIBA on housing policy issues, is a member of a committee that reviews finance and development proposals for a G15 Housing Association and sits on an advisory panel of the NHBC Foundation, the research arm of NHBC. He is a registered Design Council CABE Built Environment Expert, a Board member of the Housing Forum, and was a member of the Government appointed Challenge Panel that provided advice for the Housing Standards Review from a cross industry perspective. He is a regular contributor to national seminars and conferences.
